Description
Buckwheat groats are made from peeled buckwheat seeds. Roasted buckwheat groats have a characteristic light brown shade, which is the result of heat treatment. Roasted buckwheat groats are less valuable than unroasted groats, but they have a more pronounced taste. Buckwheat groats are a valuable source of ingredients and nutrients. Proteins, polyphenols, polysaccharides and minerals are of particular importance.
Buckwheat is characterized by a high content of minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron and vitamins.
It can be a standalone dish, an addition to meat or vegetables, or it can be the basis for lunch or dinner.
