Description

Barley flakes are made from wholemeal barley grains. During production, the grains are stripped of their husks and fruit-seed coats. Barley flakes are a treasure trove of vitamin E and B vitamins. Barley flakes also provide large amounts of elements such as potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, zinc and manganese.
Barley flakes are widely used in the kitchen. Thanks to heat treatment, they can be prepared very easily and quickly. They can be used as a separate ingredient in a dish, but they are also perfect as additions to desserts, cakes and salads.
