Description

Barley groats are a type of groats made from common barley grain. They are one of the most popular groats in Poland.
Depending on the processing method, barley groats are whole barley grains, without the husk.
All varieties of barley groats contain a large amount of fiber. Barley groats are a rich source of B vitamins, especially vitamins B1, B2 and B6, as well as vitamins E, K, PP, folic acid and silicon, zinc, calcium, manganese and copper.
Barley groats work great with various types of sauces, including mushroom and meat sauces. They can also be an excellent ingredient in dishes such as cabbage rolls, as well as stuffed vegetables.
